Overview
By accessing or purchasing from alethom.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase our products.
Products
We sell digital Lightroom presets and related digital photography resources ("Products"), delivered exclusively as electronic downloads. We do not sell or ship any physical goods.
License Grant
Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to use the Products for your own personal or professional photo editing.
You may:
Use the presets on an unlimited number of your own personal photographs;
Use the presets commercially to edit photos for paying clients (e.g., as a professional or freelance photographer), and sell or deliver the resulting edited images.
You may not:
Resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, rent, lend, or give away the preset files themselves, whether modified or unmodified, individually or bundled;
Upload the preset files to any other website, marketplace, cloud-sharing service, or third-party platform for others to download;
Claim authorship of the presets themselves or present them as your own original product;
Use the Products for any unlawful purpose.
This license is granted to the individual purchaser only and does not extend to other individuals, companies, or organizations unless an extended/team license is explicitly purchased.
Intellectual Property
All Products, including preset files, preview images, branding, and Site content, are the intellectual property of Alessio Laratta and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Purchasing a Product does not transfer any ownership of that intellectual property to you — you receive a license to use it as described in Section 1.3 only.
Compatibility
Our presets are designed for Adobe Lightroom (Classic, CC, and mobile) and are optimized in particular for Fujifilm X-Trans sensor RAW files. While many presets work well with other camera brands and file types, we do not guarantee identical results across all cameras, sensors, or software versions. Please review product descriptions, sample images, and compatibility notes carefully before purchasing.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in [EUR/USD — specify] and may include or exclude VAT depending on your location, as indicated at checkout. We reserve the right to change prices, discontinue products, or modify product offerings at any time without prior notice. Payments are processed securely through Stripe; see our Privacy Policy for details.
Delivery
Digital Products are delivered via instant download link and/or email upon successful payment. It is your responsibility to provide a valid, accessible email address and to download your Products promptly. We recommend backing up your files, as download links may expire after a reasonable period (e.g., [30/60/90] days).
Account Responsibility
If the Site requires an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alethom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our Products, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to your editing software or hardware.
Third-Party Services
Our Site may link to or rely on third-party services (e.g., Stripe for payments, email service providers, social media platforms). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third parties.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of [your city/province], Italy, save for any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under EU law in your country of residence.
